Gobble gobble

My dog has **** gland cancer. She can't Digest most food as it's too hard for her to pass. She was on prescription food for bladder stones... She wound up getting an enema for severe blockage. I decided to risk takeing her off to put her on fresh food without all the yuck fillers. Nothing is going to be perfect for her but this is by far the best I've found and she absolutely loves it. It's not cheap but I highly recommend for any animal that is suffering with health issues as an interest or really good gentle but tasty food.

My dogs love it!

My dogs range in age from 1 to 13. It is one food I know they will all eat.

My senior dog loves it!

My senior dog doesn't have many teeth left so we needed something soft to supplement his dry food. He is about 45 lbs and we break up 1/4 of the fresh on top of his dry food twice a day. He also has a sensitive stomach and we have never had any issues with this food. He actually gets super excited at meal times!

Our Picky Dog Loves This!

She feels that we are finally treating her with the respect that she deserves. She used to spit out half of her food onto the floor; now she polishes her bowl. She loves all of the flavors.

Periwinkle Likes It!

Periwinkle must be part cat because she is the pickiest dog we have ever had. If she didn't really like what we fed her, half of it was spit out on the floor. It didn't matter whether it was wet or dry food. Before we found A Pup Above (great food; terrible name), the kitchen floor was always clean; now it's not as clean but the dog is soooo happy! She even behaves better since we started feeding it to her. Sure, the portions are not the correct size for every dog, but the entire package fits perfectly in a certain size plastic container available at many grocery stores. Serving amount for the day is based on the dog's weight. For Periwinkle, that is 3/8 (6 oz) per day. We cut each 1-pound package into 8 pieces, as equally as possible. She eats after each of our meals, so 1 piece is perfect for her meal. We break it up so she doesn't eat it too quickly and add quite a bit of water because she doesn't drink enough on her own. When she's done, the bowl is cleaned and polished in about 30 seconds and there is nothing on the floor! The rest is closed up in the container, refrigerated and always fresh over the 2 1/2 days it feeds her. A fish flavor would be great.
