2 of my cats love this toy. You have to compress it vertically to make it jump in the air. It will then bounce in random directions. One of them will pick it up and carry it around the house for an hour after we finish playing with it. It is an interactive toy - they generally don't just pick it up and play with it if it is just lying there on the floor. I have to get them started with it - but once I do, they do get quite engaged with it. Works well on smooth floor, not so well on carpet.

This was not a big success as my cat doesn't know what to do with it.
