We tried this for our cats and rabbits and I must say it controls odor better than the pine pellets. It is also easier to scoop out the mess. It also smells decent and will continue to buy this for my rabbits. If you have an injured cat (the leg part) it is perfect. We usually use the clumping clay kind and my cat got hurt and had to get stitches on his back leg. Well, the litter got stuck on his sutures and I decided to try this since it would prevent future infections. To my surprise it worked out well and will buy this again.
