    Wild Game, Drooling Dog

Before we got this dog food we had our dog on Jinx dog food from Walmart. It was okay, but he was always itchy scratchy and had a lot of problems. Turns out it's the yeast in in a lot of the low branded dog food. So when we walked into Tomlinson's because I was just fed up with the low end quality food and see what they had to offer. A rep walked us through on 3 different foods and we finally settled on this one, because it has probiotics, more meat, and none of the yeast! It's been over a month now and he's been incredibly happy on this food. I mean literal drooling as soon as I open the bag! His itching and scratching has stopped (Besides treating for fleas) but no more skin irritations either. I personally think this is better than Blue Buffalo brand. If your dog is itchy and scratchy it could be because of yeast so I would suggest switching to this because it's a night and day difference between my dog on his old food to this food!.

    My dogs love it

I know with Nulo that I get an ancient grain, not grain free, quality dog food.

    My finicky pup loves Nulo!

My lab mix just isn't a big eater, so I've tried several brands - she actually finishes the whole bowl when I give her Nulo. I like that they have several different flavors, so I can give her a new option very few months.

    Pretty okay

Overall this food seems fairly clean compared to other formulas but our girls did gain some unexpected weight from this (feeding guidelines might be a bit too generous) and the food goes quickly because of the larger amount per meal. Work girls sometimes have trouble adjusting this food too which is by us now out of the rotation. But, overall, the ingredient list is pretty clean as far as kibbles go.

    Y'all are great!

What I love is that my dog loves it, his coat is shiny, he has no dental issues and he's consistently healthy. And that all comes from his food!
