Steve's Real Food B.A.R.F. Turkey Patties are a raw, frozen, and biologically appropriate dog food that offers a complete and balanced meal. Simply thaw before feeding your pet this protein-rich, nutritious raw meal!
The turkey used in this recipe has been sourced from Pittman Family Farms in the state of California, established in 1954. Their turkey has been raised hormone and antibiotic free. Vegetarian-fed and humanely raised, the turkey in Steve's Real Food is free-range, certified organic, and completely USA-sourced.
New Zealand green-lipped mussels are a natural anti-inflammatory containing Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, low in fat but high in protein.
What is B.A.R.F.? It stands for Biologically Appropriate Raw Food. Aiming to mimic the natural diet of canines, B.A.R.F. recipes incorporate an 80% meat, organ, and bone to 20% produce (fruits and vegetables) ratio. B.A.R.F. diets are recommended for pets transitioning from kibble or wet food to a raw diet.

Each patty is approximately 8 oz. The 14 lb box contains approximately 28 patties.
Keep food frozen until ready to thaw and serve. Frozen food can be hard for pets to digest. Do not cook or microwave. When thawing, place the food in an air-tight container, and leave it in the refrigerator for 24 hours or until soft. Thawed food is good in the fridge for up to four days.
For puppies and kittens under one year of age: feed 4% to 6% of their body weight daily (in ounces).
For pregnant or lactating cats and dogs: feed 4% to 6% of their body weight daily (in ounces).
Feed according to the age, neuter status, and activity of your dog. Always provide access to clean, fresh water.
This food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for all life-stages, including growth of large size puppies (70 lb. or more as an adult).

Although I bought my 2 little chihuahua mixes the very beat kibble money could buy, they were always struggling with being overweight while having only 1/4 cup twice a day. When I switched to Steve's, I could finally serve my dogs a healthy portion of food (.4 oz each meal). Their coat softened, they slimmed down to their proper weight and size, and have been healthier than ever since then. They have been eating Steve's real food since 2017 and I don't even care about the cost. The bottom line is my dogs are healthier eating this food than they were when I fed them high-quality kibble.

We have used various frozen foods and used to make it from scratch before there were commercial options. Steve's arrived in great shape. I have bought other brands that clearly had thawed and then were refrozen. I don't know where that happened, but it is super annoying as you can't separate the patties if that happens. My dogs are picky. They eat this stuff up right away.

Our pup loves the Steves frozen turkey patties. He has a
dinner bell in his tummy and lets us know at 5pm it's dinner time.
To store in freezer I divide case into pkgs of 4 patties and use 1/2 gal
freezer bags to stack up. Make sure to wash bags before reusing.
