Keep food frozen until ready to thaw and serve. Frozen food can be hard for pets to digest. Do not cook or microwave. When thawing, place the food in an air-tight container, and leave it in the refrigerator for 24 hours or until soft. Thawed food is good in the fridge for up to four days.
For puppies: feed 5% of their current weight (in ounces), split into three or four meals per day. For example, if your puppy weighs 5 lbs (0.25 lb), you would feed 4 ounces of food.
For pregnant or lactating dogs: feed up to 2x the amount listed in the appropriate weight column.
This food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for all life-stages, including growth of large size puppies (70 lb. or more as an adult).
