United StatesSaved my diabetic senior cat!
My cat Muppet was diagnosed with IBD in 2019 and has been on Prednisolone on and off to control her inflammation in combination with a specialty diet. In 2022 she developed diabetes from being on steroids for so long. Diabetic cats are recommended a low carb diet to help control blood sugar. I tried what my vet recommended but her blood sugar was remaining high and she would get recurrent UTIs. I found this food when looking for other low-carb options and Muppet loves it. The vet said the main concern would be a higher risk of infection with raw food, but when stored and handled properly it can be a good option. Taking appropriate precautions, this food has been transformative. Muppet’s coat is more lustrous, she has more energy, and most of all her blood sugar is under control. She looks and acts 5 years younger and I think most of that can be attributed to her diet change!
