This toy is NOT safe for dogs! Our 19-month old puppies chewed the entire tug off and ATE it within 30-minutes. We ended up at the vet's office. There's another review here that shares something similar. PLEASE STOP SELLING THIS TOY!

Our dog managed to eat the entire plastic tug within 30-minutes!!!! This is not a safe dog toy.

My dogs managed to bite the rubber and also the rope. I threw the toys away immediately. They are not safe. Sorry. :(
