  • Description
  • Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat Ultra Litter is a unique formulation that combines the heavy non tracking granules of the Classic Litter with a medium grain clay. The result is an excellent clumping litter that prevents moisture from reaching the bottom of the tray, while providing a clump that will not break down. Ultra is perfect for multi-cat families and those cat owners with sifting or mechanical litter boxes.

    Dr. Elsey's litter is:

99.9% dust-free: made with natural clay
    Hard clumping for less mess
Designed with superior odor control, making it ideal for pet owners with multiple cats

Dr. Bruce Elsey has been a feline only veterinarian for over 35 years and his practice cares for over 8,000 cats. Nonuse of the litter box is the number one behavioral reason cats are abused, abandoned and placed in shelters. Dr. Elsey's goal is to provide products that help cats live happier, healthier lives and provide litter box solutions for the life of your cat.

My favorite brand of litter

Over the years I’ve tried a ton of brands. Flushable, paper-based, lightweight, even the kind made out of walnuts. I always go back to Dr E. The cats just prefer it. When one of my cats got old and started having litter box problems I used the “cat attract” variety and that really helped. I endorse Dr E whole heartedly!

Cat likes it, a little messy

My roommate started using this litter for her cat. The cat sometimes kicks the litter out of the litter box when burying her waste. It's a little messy, but the cat seems to like it so :)
