Steve's Real Food B.A.R.F. Chicken Patties are a raw, frozen, and biologically appropriate food for cats and dogs that offers a complete and balanced meal for all life stages. Simply thaw before feeding your pet this protein-rich, nutritious raw meal!
The chicken used in this recipe have been sourced from Draper Valley Farms in the state of Washington. Their chicken has been raised with no added antibiotics, no hormones, and no preservatives since 1935. Vegetarian-fed and humanely raised, the chicken in Steve's Real Food is free-range, certified organic, and completely USA-sourced.
What is B.A.R.F.? It stands for Biologically Appropriate Raw Food. Aiming to mimic the natural diet of canines, B.A.R.F. recipes incorporate an 80% meat, organ, and bone to 20% produce (fruits and vegetables) ratio. B.A.R.F. diets are recommended for pets transitioning from kibble or wet food to a raw diet.

Each patty is approximately 8 oz. The 14 lb box contains approximately 28 patties.
Keep food frozen until ready to thaw and serve. Frozen food can be hard for pets to digest. Do not cook or microwave. When thawing, place the food in an air-tight container, and leave it in the refrigerator for 24 hours or until soft. Thawed food is good in the fridge for up to four days.
For puppies and kittens under one year of age: feed 4% to 6% of their body weight daily (in ounces).
For pregnant or lactating cats and dogs: feed 4% to 6% of their body weight daily (in ounces).
Feed according to the age, neuter status, and activity of your dog. Always provide access to clean, fresh water.
This food is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for all life-stages, including growth of large size puppies (70 lb. or more as an adult).

Well, Copper would eat paper or dirt, typical Golden, so I have to refer to other things. I'm set on always feeding frozen raw, along with food that I cook to round out the diet. This is so much more cost-effective than the Primal that I had purchased for some time. When I thaw the daily serving, I notice there's not the bloody content that was in Primal, and I don't know if that's a good thing, not a good thing, or it doesn't matter either way. But for now this is what Copper will enjoy. Thank you!

I have 2 labradoodles, and they love the raw chicken dog food. They are both picky eaters, but they eat this right up! We're excited to have a great dog food that they love to eat and one that is very healthy for them!

My fur baby luvs his Steve's chicken/turkey pattie. He is so excited to eat one half in morning and the other half for dinner. As an added benefit it works well for weight control too.
