Remove the paper collar and plunger. Insert pill into the barrel, and replace the plunger. Push the plunger into the opening of the barrel's tip.
Place index and middle fingers under the bars of the pill gun. Adjust as necessary for full control.
Open your pet's mouth with one hand over the top of the head and muzzle. Apply pressure with your fingers on each side of the jaw hinge.
You may find it easier to administer with a pair of helping hands!
Insert the pill gun over the tongue and to the back of the mouth. Quickly push the plunger to administer. Rinse with water and air dry. Pull the plunger out of the barrel when not in use.
